So here you are, seemingly nothing helps. You can’t stop thinking about escaping, about killing yourself, about going to sleep for an eternity, because this world is too much for you. Let’s face it, there are resources (I fully encourage you to actually use them, they can help), but for many folks it is a hidden and personal struggle. It is viewed incorrectly as a “downer” to speak about the harsh aspects of life and untie the knots of neurons that drive many of our panic states not because we address them and think of them, but because we pointedly do not and ignore them. Because, if you are anything like me, they give you ants in the pants of your soul.
So if you want to kill yourself, “addressing” your thoughts doesn’t have to be a process in divulging to another. You can do this work on your own and it becomes all the better for it. Much of our lives and greatest thinking is done alone, it is not an either or; it is merely a difference in approach that is in no way mutually exclusive. If anything mental health is about finding your multi-pronged trident of treatment.
